Best Field of Tantra Sadhana for Tantrics
One thing i have heard people say a lot is that not everything happens by choice. God is a good planner. He knows when to do what. For example, I am taking about myself. i wanted to visit Kamakhya temple which is the best field of tantra sadhana for tantrics, for long but for some reason it was getting stuck at the end. A technical boy who was in the same company he had already told me he would go with me to see Kamakhya. I was keeping everything right but at the end it was getting stuck. In doing so, my last day of working for that company arrived. Then i made up my mind that i would go anyway, so i booked train ticket and arranged the hotel online. And finally, the day of our auspicious journey came.
The train from Kolkata station was in the morning and next morning we were supposed to get down our destination. It was Kamrup express reached our destination on time. Due to early arrived at the hotel it was a little bit difficult to get a room but we managed after talking with hotel manager. Then we freshed ourselves and got ready to visit Umananda temple. Basically, Kamakhya temple is one among the 51 sati piths. And before going to any sati pith it is mandatory to visit to the Shiva temple of there as per religious belief. We did the same and started journey to Umananda temple. Basically, this Umananda Temple is on an island in the middle of Brahmaputra River, the natural beauty of it attracted me a lot. We visited Lord Shiva here and my mind was filled with joy.
Now it was our turn to go to Kamakhya temple. As per the myth of Hinduism, Goddess Parvati’s father was insulting her husband Lord Shiva, she could not bear it and died. When Shiva acme to know about this fact he killed her wife’s father and stared dancing. Lord Vishnu realised it that this universe would be end if let Shiva continue like this so he decided to cut the Parvati’s dead bodies into pieces by his Sudarshan Chakra. And he split her body into 51 pieces. So that various parts of Parvati or Sati’s body were scattered in different places. And Kamakhya temple is one of those where Sati’s private parts fell. This was the story of this temple in brief. At present this place is very popular for Tantra devotees. On Kaushiki new moon night there is huge crowd here. I went there and found animals were slaughtered there before but not now. From my personal experience saying there is not much unfair treatment of worshippers as i have noticed in any popular temples in India. However, we talked to a worshipper and fixed it to pay Rs 300 per head for Puja. The crowd was fairly good and we offered the puja to the goddess. What i liked the most the lion statue in front of temple, where we stood and captured picture one by one.
Leaving the temple, we went to a zoo and Navagraha Temple. Here we did the whole trip by Ola & uber taxi and we saved a good amount at the end we calculated. The Kamakhya temple is located on the top of Nilachal hill but i found taxi arrived there without any hesitate. , Rather i used to feel scared while passing through the road because sometimes taxi was taking terrible turn. At the beginning, although i was uncomfortable but when i realized there’s taxi drivers are expert to drive on hills i got relaxed. But to be honest we could not see anything special in Guwahati Zoo, but the area was huge. But when i entered inside the Navagraha temple, i could not see anything because of the complete the darkness inside it. There was all symbolic of 9 planets. we also offered Puja there.
After nothing happened to say but it happened after we arrived home. after somedays of coming from Kamakhya temple i got to know, my partner who went with me on this tour as soon as he came home he had severe fever and he told me that a certain person in his house was possessed by the spirit of a goddess. And that goddess lived on the top of the hill which was just opposite our hotel. Through the mouth of that family member, the goddess said when he would travel again there so that he visits first to her temple . First i did not believe it but for confirmation i called the hotel manager and asked was there any temple on the hill which was just opposite our hotel. Also he said the name of the goddess with whom i matched the name. Guys may be you won’t believe it was exactly the same name. We had never travelled to assam before so we were not supposed to know all of these but it all came together in strange coincidence.
May be there is no scientific explanation for everything that happens in the world so i kept it secret in diary of my mind. But i wish to visit that temple once more with my family because somehow this temple attracts me. If Mother Kamakhya wishes i will go again one day. I waited for that. jay Kamakhya Mata Ki jay .
