He went from being an agent of the Indian intelligence agency RAW to being the National Advisor of India, although the journey was quite sensational. After the Indian government’s Operation Bluestar in 1988, Khalishani militants recaptured the Golden Temple and then carried out an operation in this volatile hawker country to de-militize the Golden Temple. This person was the mastermind behind cutting off the water supply when the militants could not drink water during the intense heat. It was his wisdom that the Golden Temple was freed from militants without shedding any blood.
In 1966 when the influence of these separatist groups in Mizoram began to grow, he entered their party in the guise of their friend and completely cut them off from the movement and thus the two separatist movement groups completely broke up.
