Durgapur Barrage is located at Durgapur in Burdwan district of the Indian state of West Bengal. Irrigation and flood control is done through Durgapur Barrage. This barrage was constructed by the West Bengal government in 1953 during the tenure of the then Chief Minister Dr. Bidhan Chandra ray. Durgapur Barrage was inaugurated in 1955 after almost two years of construction work.
