The plight of the future generation of West Bengal that is going to happen
Many people say that the people of West Bengal wake up after 30 to 35 years. 15 years ago they were once awake, now they are sleeping and after 15 to 20 years they will be awake. Politicians here have understood this simple fact and are now confident that there is no chance of them losing power in 15 years. I have heard many people say that the Chief Minister of West Bengal is responsible for the bad state of the economy. I can never support this because the Chief Minister is completely elected by the people. So if she has done any mistake people have power to change him but in last election we have seen opposite picture. Despite numerous allegations of financial manipulation against her government, she won a landslide victory and became the new Chief Minister. Many, however, say that her overwhelming majority was due to the sheer vote of the large number of Muslims living here and the votes of Hindu women. Deterioration of economic condition is not a factor in any vote for muslims they only vote for their religion so I have no complaint against them but hindu women must pay a heavy price for their next generation by voting this govt.
Now this government has understood how to stay in power here by doing cheap politics. So this government is not willing to think about the fact that there is so much movement of the unemployed people around for jobs, in fact they know that by distributing some more money to the public during the elections, they will win the elections very easily. Being a resident of West Bengal, I know very well how difficult it is for an educated middle class working family to survive here because they don’t really have any jobs. That is, he has to do something compulsory for him that he would deserve. I am guessing that a large number of boys born in the 90s will remain unmarried. As a result, just as girls cannot be found for boys now, in 20 to 30 years there will be a time when there will be a dearth of boys. It is a fact that there is no employment in West Bengal and no new industries are created here. Politicians here only talk about their own benefits. Today, women may be very happy with Mamata Banerjee’s Rs 500 or Rs 1,000 per month but there will come a time when their husbands will not be able to earn. Once they should think about whether they can run their family with this money given by the government. Although I may sound bad, it is true that our women of West Bengal are going to see the day very soon when they will not be able to run families when their husband’s money won’t come. In fact, if there is not enough employment in the country, how will their husband earn money and bring it to the family? With this little money given by the government they have to run family.
The economy of West Bengal is slowly getting worse. I am not an expert in economics but I also understand that gradually the number of employment is decreasing while the number of unemployed is increasing so the money we used to earn in a month is also decreasing. I am very surprised to see the people here, their awareness is so low that they are happy with this little money but they don’t care about the future, they don’t even care about what their future generations will live on. Now in our middle class family we keep one thing if a son or daughter studies and after completing the education it is assumed that he/she is going to be registered in the unemployment list and it is bitter but true. The West Bengal government should not just play cheap politics but take some role in making these unemployed boys self-reliant because the rate of unemployment is increasing and the economy of West Bengal may be ruined very soon. Now a time has come that it is very difficult to earn 400 rupees a day while the expenses have increased a lot and it has become difficult for anyone to do business here because of the tyranny of the local politicians here. But I don’t expect anything from this government because I don’t think they have any desire to do anything good because I have been watching them for the past 15 years and from this experience I say they will only do cheap politics. At the same time, I said that if the people here do not give up their greed and indulge in cheap things without thinking about their future, then this nation will surely see very bad days after some time. I hope that the people of West Bengal will be wise enough to consider the situation wisely and take a decision in the matter of voting.
