Why unemployment problem in India is increasing day by day?
The reason why unemployment is so high in India is the education system here. There was a time when India’s education rate was low but the unemployment rate was not so high. So the question is whether unemployment is increasing in India with the improvement in education, the answer is yes. A large section of our country’s youth are not currently able to become a part of what companies need, as a result of being educated through traditional education. As a result, even if they have education, their education is not up-to-date i.e. they do not know any technical education or management principles which are of no use, they are educated in that education, hence they are suffering from unemployment. From childhood we have learned about the carbon dioxide level in the environment or the signal of sulfuric acid, but after completing our studies, have we been able to use them in practical life? That is, after completing our studies, we need knowledge on practical things for the work that is done in developed countries. Although we have a large number of ordinary people here, they are not skilled, so companies cannot hire them even if they want to. But until a time ago when the education rate was low, they were educated in technical education, so they did not have to sit unemployed, which is now almost one boy in every house is unemployed. Along with that another big problem is that now if a boy gets educated then he can’t do any other job he feels ashamed he wants to become an officer so he has to suffer unemployment. To give an example, my aunt’s daughter was currently sitting for two years after completing her graduation and she could not find any suitable job. Then I told her to work as a supervisor in a security company and then I will put her in contact with that company but she was not agreeing to work for that company as she felt that it was a very small level job. But she was not ashamed to sit at home unemployed but when I arranged a job for her she felt ashamed to do that job because she felt that it was not up to her level and this problem was happening all around. In the same way a son of a peasant family, after some education, shy away from farming because he feels that he is now fit for a government job and people will laugh at him if he is somehow like that. In fact, in developed countries that have left us behind in this way of thinking of the people of our country, we have seen that even after being highly educated, some people are farming and some are doing other activities, but they do not think like this. But they are not so ashamed that after studying so far we will do all this work in fact they respect the work which we do not do so our economic problem is increasing day by day.
Another reason for increasing the unemployment problem is that even before children from middle-class homes pass their studies, there is a strong desire in their homes that since their sons and daughters are studying, they must get government jobs. But besides that, another ultimate fact is that the number of seats in government jobs is limited, that is, no matter how many people compete, a certain number of people will get jobs and a large number of people will suffer unemployment. But for this govt service preparation long time is lost in everyone’s life and this time they can’t earn any income or they don’t have work experience after some time everyone has to join private company but these precious time is lost from their life which they spent for the service of government. Many of these large numbers of people go into depression when they are unable to reach their own success, which leads to unemployment problems wherever they go, and a certain number of people may drop out. But in developed countries, students tend to make themselves skilled in special fields without waiting for government services so that they can get jobs in the private sector very quickly, and if they don’t get jobs, they take the initiative to do something or start a business on their own initiative. As a result they not only improve themselves but also improve the country. Besides, I myself have seen that besides studies or business, there are many students who may not be so good in studies but they have different skills like some can take photos some can dance well some can sing well based on all these skills if they If they had focused on building their careers, they would have solved much of the unemployment problem that we see in developed countries. Human lifestyle is changing with the speed of time and if we do not adapt ourselves accordingly we will disappear from the earth. Twenty to twenty five years ago we never thought that a company like Flipkart Amazon would come and bring us the products we want at home but now it is very common and many people are working there and running their families. That is, we have to think that our future generation should not fall into unemployment and accordingly we have to take decisions through foresight only. Sometimes you have to give up the hope of a job and take your own initiative and think of yourself to create something that no one has thought of yet. Actually what I want to say is that the number of enterprising people should be increased. In this case, the government can launch various motivational projects. That is, we should not only think of one aspect but we should think of many aspects and we should also think of many possible areas which may not be currently providing any employment but through which future employment is possible. In order to develop the cottage industry along with the heavy industry, the government should take sufficient initiative not only to develop the industry but also to ensure that it gets enough market after the industrial production. Besides, the future generation of farmers should not be diverted from agriculture i.e. their interest in agriculture should be increased and agriculture should be linked with modern technology and at the same time it should be ensured that they get the right price for the produce. Only then we can play a major role in improving agriculture and reducing unemployment.
