Big companies or factories suddenly decide to lay off workers. I don’t understand the rules or I don’t have that much knowledge of the law but I think that the person who has provided service to this company for a long time may have been paid for that but companies should be a little more humane during layoffs. On the one hand, when companies tell their employees that this is our family to run their business, how can we kick a family member out of the family just because he is old? Would it be humane if the parents who worked hard to bring up their children only grew up and threw them out of the house on the pretext that the parents were old? Today I saw the tears of an employee that is why I am writing this article. The employee has served the company for many years now he has passed 60 years. So the company has given him a notice that he will be fired soon. Even though the company is legally correct, the companies should also consider the human aspect because our country has not yet developed such an economic situation where a person can spend the rest of his life depending on the money he has earned so far when he is 60 years old. Wages of workers in India are very low compared to other countries. So he has to work for a very long time, in some cases a person works until the day before his death, I hope no one can deny that.
The biggest problem in the case of private sector is that after 60 years almost every company closes its doors to workers who have to do something to earn their living.. As a result after this age the condition of middle class and lower class people becomes very pathetic.I have seen it a lot myself but today the tears of that person made me very emotional so I am trying to write something so that our civilized society can understand this. Today private sector has become more painful not only for people over 60 years but also for young generation as companies have started thinking commercially and they have become more profit greedy and have no relation to personal emotions of employees. But these same workers have worked tirelessly for 30 years or 40 years to help the owner of the company to earn profits but after sixty years he is not able to earn his own livelihood. It is really inhumane.?
