Fundamentalist Muslims demand Saraswati, the goddess of learning, cannot be worshiped in schools in West Bengal.
West Bengal, a province of India is currently moving towards Islamization as we know that there was an incident in Nadia where Saraswati Puja will no longer be allowed in a primary school there as claimed by the Islamic organizations there. The headmaster of the school organized a meeting with all the parents and villagers because till now there was no Saraswati Puja in the school so after hearing that he wanted to start it from this year the hardline Muslims there got angry with him and ordered him that if he thinks like that Thinking it will be very bad with him. After this incident, the media of the whole country made a fuss about the issue because Saraswati Puja is considered a sacred puja for Hindus and Saraswati is the goddess of learning, so it is customary to perform this puja in every school, but Muslims never allow Saraswati Puja in Muslim dominated areas. Many people are angry about it. After this incident, the headmaster of the school is very scared because his safety is in question and he wants the government to take action in this matter.
As we all know that there are districts in West Bengal where there are large numbers of Muslims, they have a lot of fun, so it is not very unusual that they do not want to allow puja. This is their character.Muslim hardliners believe that Hindus cannot be allowed to do anything in places where they are outnumbered because their religion does not allow them. If this is the case in a secular country like India where people of different religions live then it is really worrying if this process continues if they do not allow Muslims to celebrate any religious festival where Hindus are in majority because it must be very bad. This country is a country of all nations, there must be unity of Hindus and Muslims here, but at present peace is being disturbed in some places. Hope the government will take action on this issue though the responsibility of peace and order within the state is in the hands of the state but not much can be expected from the Trinamool Congress government in the state as they have a large part of their vote bank from the Muslim community. However, the headmaster should take this security measure from the government because he himself is worried enough about security. The influence of extremists in West Bengal is increasing day by day and the government should think about this because it will disrupt the peace and order and the West Bengal government as well as the Indian government will have to take some positive steps otherwise there may be a possibility of unrest here.
