A society that cannot respect educated people is inevitable
The economic condition of the Indian state of West Bengal is taking a dire shape. At present the educated people are suffering the consequences but in the next few years the uneducated people will also suffer the consequences for sure. Educated community has no job, be it government or private sector, they have to roam around unemployed. A large section of the compulsorily educated people have chosen an employment which is not suitable for them, where they are working with uneducated people and enduring insults from different people every moment. A boy or girl does not find any job after graduation or master graduation, compulsorily they join those warehouses for two months or three months contractual work and then they are thrown out by the companies. Again, you will be surprised to know what they have to do in those warehouses. In those warehouses they have to work like labor rather than labor and they have to endure various kinds of mental torture. I am a victim myself. There is no job suitable for educated boys in West Bengal, at least I never saw it. No educated boy can work in all those jobs which are still vacant but knowing everything West Bengal government has no concern to fix employment in West Bengal.
A few days back a daughter of my family struggled to get a job in the private sector but after working there for two to three months she realizes that even with a small salary they put a lot of stress on her. But there is no other option but to do that job because there is a huge shortage of jobs in West Bengal especially for women because of which everyone knows that there is no security for women in this state. About three-four months ago I got one of my cousins a job in a war house and she is still doing it but she also has to work under a lot of stress but she can’t quit because her family is totally dependent on her income. I don’t know how many more thousands of crores of educated community are working with mental pain like this every day while the responsible people of this state are spending day after day without work to fix this issue of unemployment. At present, a situation has developed in West Bengal that if any company advertises ten jobs, at least five thousand candidates go there and that too from the previous night. Some of the candidates who are educated in technical education i.e. have technical knowledge have to go and work outside West Bengal. That’s because there are no industrial factories in West Bengal so there is a shortage of jobs for them as well. This time, some people have a plan to rob the common people with this opportunity. In the name of providing work, many individuals or organizations are embezzling thousands of lakhs of rupees from common people. I myself witnessed such incidents when I was at the beginning of my career. Not finding a job anywhere I decided to go to a place after seeing an advertisement in the newspaper and I was accompanied by my friend and the place was Ranaghat which is a place under Nadia district. My situation was so bad then that I didn’t have money to go to Ranaghat so mother pawned her jewelery and gave me some money and I was duped by giving that money to the scammer. Not just this one time but I have been cheated like this many times earlier in my career. But it can be said that the number of these fraudsters has increased since then because the situation in West Bengal is worse than what it was 10 years ago.
Bribery is a common thing in West Bengal and you will find many people around you who have got jobs through bribery. It is sad to see but the incidents are happening that a boy who has passed high school is working as a primary teacher by giving bribe and besides doing tuition illegally he is earning a lot of money at the end of the month whereas a boy who has passed masters is earning 5000 taka per month by doing tuition. These are not imaginary events but many such events are happening around us. Nowadays uneducated people make fun of educated people because the money they earn at the end of the month is much more than an educated boy rather many educated boy can’t earn any money, he is unemployed and sitting at home. Do not know when this bad situation will change? West Bengal is getting worse day by day. There was a time when educated unemployed boys could earn some money even with tuition but now that is not a possibility as all those places are occupied by primary or other teachers working in government schools. In many cases, they are competing with these unemployed boys and girls in the field of private tuition by teaching students for very little money, so within a few days, the unemployed boy is not able to compete with them, so he is forced to leave the tutoring profession and go elsewhere. Hundreds of such injustices are happening daily with unemployed youths, how much more can I say but these incidents need to stop immediately, there must be a solution to the exploitation of unemployed youths. Because injustice against a class cannot continue for a long time and moreover if the educated community is of no use to the society and the uneducated people are at the top of the society then that society can never survive for a long time. The society will have to suffer the consequences after 10 or 15 years. We all know that the society or civilization which cannot give respect to the educated and women community is destroyed, in the same way the educated community is facing insults every moment. Their tears are falling on the ground every day. God will not accept this injustice for long. So those who do such things, wait, when the burden of your sins is complete, you will be reckoned with. Wait.
