Be respectful to the creator from the heart and be grateful first of all do your duty to your parents only then you will have full achievement in the right sense. Don’t practice religion by people and playing loud loudspeakers is never the only identity of religion. Religion means faith and devotion.
Everyone who knows me well knows very well that I have great respect for religion, not only my own religion but I have great respect and trust in any religion. Religion means two things, one is the rituals followed by the people, and the other is the belief in the Creator from the heart. I am totally against people doing various unrighteous activities inside and out of pretending religion because nothing should be so much publicity oriented, political leaders are propaganda oriented but we common people should have faith in God from our heart only then a person can be properly called religious. Today in any religion the number of such people is very few.Most of the time people follow the rules of the outward religion but inside they are completely against the religion. Most of the people are now addicted to women, greed for other people’s property, and they never want to get rid of it. In fact, they have nothing to do with religion. In many cases, they use religion for their own profit.
Hinduism says that the only purpose of life is to be freed from the bonds of birth and death, but in many cases people do not understand this, they are busy with various issues and until the day before their death, they do not hesitate to kill others to bring the issue of public life to their own rights. The purpose of writing this article today is that currently I am in the village house and here I see that the Harinam Sankirtan is going on. which is considered a sacred activity in Hinduism. Let me tell you a little about the person who has this Harinam Sankirtan in the house. I have been watching this Harinam Sankirtan since I was a child. Every year this Harinam Sankirtan was celebrated. This man once chased his mother away because he had no money to feed her. But he arranges Harinam Sankirtan every year and spends a lot of money for it. His mother eventually fled to Vrindavan and breathed her last there. There is nothing wrong in doing Harinam Sankirtan or spending anything for religion but if a person does not fulfill his duty to his mother or father and only practices religion as shown by the people it can never be right as this person has been doing for years. Since we are born as human beings we have some responsibility towards our parents because they gave birth to us and brought us up so when they become old and helpless it is our responsibility to take care of them but if we do not do that we follow the religion of the people then it can never be an act of virtue but it is ultimate unrighteousness and tantamount to sin.
This person is chanting Harinam loudly in the loudspeaker causing visual pollution as well as a disturbance in the surrounding environment. Children may not be able to study and elderly people who are sick are suffering but the person is not obliged to see this.. But I know that man is not at all religious. A person who cannot feed his own parents does not obey the word of religion. I don’t think any gods or even God himself will ever forgive him for his actions. After many days coming home to the village listening to Harinam Sankirtan sitting on our roof and I remember my childhood very much especially the old lady who was once not allowed to eat by the man. That poor man used to go to this house or that house for two meals and she came to our house many times and ate and finally she went to Vrindavan and till the day before his death. I don’t know why I felt so much sympathy for that old lady and I really wanted to go to Vrindavan and meet her at least once. But since I was very young then my wish was not finally fulfilled. Later I heard that the old lady had died so I felt a little pain in my heart. Today, when I come to the village house on leave, I remember that old lady a lot. I remember that little girl in the village with whom I used to play once, maybe developed some romantic relationship but did not go very far due to people’s shyness. I remember that the field where we used to play about that small field, now all his friends are no longer seen. They are all busy with their own family so I miss that time a lot.. Maybe there was nothing remarkable in our childhood. But still, those events seem so important now, spending time together with friends, going to school in a hurry, everything is a memory that wants to be recalled again and again.
Anyway I was going out of context so I changed the paragraph intentionally we were discussing about religion what I was saying is that nowadays no one gives proper importance to religion everyone uses religion for their own profit maybe some of them have become religious businessmen and they have enough influence in the society but they can never say from their heart that they are true religious and surely after death they will be judged by the creator himself. Religion is a method that helps to keep people alive like there was a time in the name of religion there was a provision of different food in the neighborhood although now I don’t think there is any need for this thing because nowadays many people are helped by the government so it is difficult to find people who don’t get food every day at least I am saying this by looking at the picture in West Bengal. Now if the different temple authorities or clubs don’t spend behind these things if they can find people who need various financial help or there are many old or old people who may need winter clothes and can provide all that then I think it’s better temple authorities should think about society and religion because religion is changing with time so what was great for religion 1000 years ago may be less important now. At present I see loud music being played through loudspeakers, it would have been better for them if they could have practiced their religion respectfully in their own homes without doing this. At least from what I understand of religion, I can say that there is nothing but telling people by playing loud music and they will not get any part of the virtue. I will end this block that please don’t show religion please fulfill everyone’s duties properly and be grateful to the creator from your heart because he created everything he is nurturing you every moment and also sure that after your death or after this destruction this creator will be with you so learn to love him learn to respect him from your heart. That is because they are slowly pushing you not into the world of virtue but into the world of sin.
