Bride’s parents always want government service boy for their daughter. In the near future, social inequality in the society will increase a lot..
Govt service in India is a very big security job so everyone wants a Govt service husband for their daughter. About four percent of people in India are in government service and the rest are in the private sector. These 4 percent are not the highest earners. There are so many people who earn much more than those who work in the private sector or elsewhere, but their top priority is security. That is till they reach a certain age whatever happens in their life the government will provide security in their work i.e. their income will not stop in any case this is the biggest job security in government jobs. For this reason alone fathers of millions of girls prefer govt service boys for their daughters. At present a situation has arisen where a groom cannot find a suitable bride for his marriage because almost every bride’s parents wants government service boy. But the parents of the brides who are looking for government service boys for their daughters are not from very well-to-do families but in some cases from middle class and lower families. A factory worker or even a rickshaw driver prefers a government service boy for his daughter. I am not belittling anyone but everything has a limit like I am born in a middle class family if I want to marry a daughter of Ambani family it is not possible just as if a father from a normal middle class or lower class family wants to seek govt service only for his daughter it is also not possible. A huge problem in the marriage market today is that suitable grooms are not finding brides for them just for this reason.
Although the matter is very common, it is going to bring a huge negative impact on the society in the near future. As I said that only 4 percent people of the country are government service holders and it is not possible for that 4 percent people to marry so many candidates, at least the Hindu Marriage Act does not support it then where will the rest of the brides go. My guess is that by making these unreasonable demands only the bride will cross the age limit or after some time she will have to marry a person from the private sector but then she will have to marry a much older person thus leading to social chaos. According to me every parent has the right to decide about his daughter’s marriage and every mother wants her daughter’s life to be safe but the desire must be on the edge of logic because irrational logic can never be fulfilled. Just as another example, I might be able to afford a motorbike and I might hope for a big four-wheeler, but if I have a hobby of buying a private plane, it is very unlikely that I will fulfill that hobby, and whenever I do not have any desire that is not fulfilled. My pain will increase.
A father who advocates usury is a social disease just as a candidate’s father who only looks for a government service boy for his daughter is also a social disease. It is not wrong to find a son doing government service for one’s daughter but only seeking government service is wrong. If you listen to the parents of girls, it seems that for them government service is the biggest party, they don’t want anything, even if the boy is bad, also will work but definitely should be government service. But in this case the girls’ parents have another perfect calculation that is they decide in their hearts that if the boy dies after marriage for any reason then his daughter’s life will be protected. There is also this hideous reason behind their such decisions, maybe no one discusses them but it is also a reason. The most important thing is that when the parents of the girls take such a decision, knowing the personal character of the boy is not a priority, their only priority is the government service.
If anyone makes the highest contribution to India’s economy and GDP, it is the private sector workers who never get any respect, either from the government or from other people. Government services on the one hand get tax concessions in many respects but a private employee has to pay higher tax rate but still they have no respect in the society. There are many people who speak very disparagingly of the workers in the private sector which feels very bad but has to be accepted. The reason is our society. I have nothing more to say about this but I have no grudge against any government service holder, I have pointed out the things that happen in the society. But I can say that if it continues like this, in the near future, inequality will increase in the society and people will lose the energy to work, because when they know that no matter how hard I work, my work has no value, then they will not get that motivation to work, while the country’s economy They contribute the most when they lose their enthusiasm and the country’s economy will be destroyed.
