Diamonds Planet Discovered
Just 4,000 light-years away from Earth is a planet made entirely of diamonds. Recently scientists have released information about this planet to the public. However, diamonds do not exist on this planet in the same condition as we see them in stores. It is true that there are diamonds in this planet but it is concentrated. The density of this planet is 23 grams per cubic centimeter. It is about twice the density of lead and even more dense than any known planet. It is actually a carbon-rich white dwarf star. Because the inclusion pressure inside the planet is so high, scientists think that the diamond inside the planet could be in the christal shape. But most scientists think this planet is made of carbon. Scientists estimate that billions of years ago this planet was part of a massive star. This planet with a distance of about 55,000 kilometers is about five times the mass of Earth. Scientists also hypothesize that the planet may have an abundance of oxygen, but light elements such as hydrogen and helium gas are absent. Although it is not yet possible for any scientist to give complete information about a planet located so far from this earth, the information that has been obtained is largely based on assumptions.
