Hardline Muslims in Bangladesh have banned women’s football matches because they claim it is not supported by Islam.
Anti-women activism has been on the rise in Bangladesh, a country of pro-Potter Muslims, with recent reports that a girls’ football match organized there was forcibly shut down by radical Muslims. They argue that where the majority of Muslims are Muslim, they will never accept girls participating in action contests because it speaks against their religion. Not only that, they also threatened to take legal action against the authorities who organized the game. A few days ago we saw an actress named Parimony was called for boycott and even jailed just because she acts, in fact the radical Muslims never want all these creative things like movies or music to ever happen in their country. The human rights commissions should talk about the fact that after Mohammad Yunus took power, on the one hand, the persecution of Hindus and all minorities in Bangladesh has increased, and the persecution of women has also increased. In fact, there is no such thing as development in Bangladesh, some radical Muslims are trying to save their interests by exploiting the political instability there. The government does not think about the most necessary things of the common people and they are oppressing only the minorities and women there, while the International Human Rights Commission is completely silent on this matter.
