Bangladeshi Padma Hilsa

Bengali’s passion Hilsa
Even though I was born in a Bengali family in West Bengal but I can count on my hands the number of times I have eaten Hilsa fish since my childhood till to date but still would say Bengali’s passion Hilsa. Hilsa is a special type of golden colour fish produced in Padma River in Bangladesh. As Beautyful as this fish to look at the taste is also incomparable. It is also not that this fish is only available in Bangladesh but in many areas of west Bengal fishermen catch this fish. But because of the difference in taste between two Hilsa Bengalis are more passionate about Padma Hilsa.
India is completely reliable on Bangladesh in terms of importing Hilsa Fish. Bangladesh also sells Hilsa to India to earn foreign currency. But after coming new government in Bangladesh, they announced that they would not export this fish to India. But later to boost their spinless weak economy they again decided to export 3000 mt Hilsa to India. Although there is feeling of happiness among the Bengalis in West Bengal about this, the common people of Bangladesh are complete angry with the government there. The people of there say how did government decide to send 3000 MT Hilsa to Neighbouring country where people of Bangladesh cannot eat Hilsa.
Hilsa Fish is very essential item in Puja in West Bengal so at this moment this huge amount of Hilsa importing is really good news. But we also need to think about it how to create a permanent solution of this problem. However this year i hope this Durga Puja will go well with Hilsa. goodbye everyone today.
