Bankura Tourism Industry
Jhilmil is veery much contributed towards the Bankura Tourism industry. It is located in Bankura district of West Bengal state of India. The natural forest full of shimul flowers is here for tourists to see. The river Kansa Vati flows through the Su tana forest.
There is a lodge at Jhilimili under government initiative called Rimil Lodge. Here you have to book in advance and then go. The environment inside this lodge is a mind-blowing landscape of green trees. Jhilimili has a watch tower that overlooks the location of Jhilimili. Distance from Kolkata to Bankura is 233 km. Distance from Bankura to Jhilimili is 70 km. The nearest railway station is Bankura. Various express trains and buses are also available here.
