Meghnath Saha Planetarium (Burdwan Constellation) is located in Golap Bagh area of Burdwan district of West Bengal state of India. It is one of the planetariums in India which is spread over 5.1 acres of land. Meghnath Saha Planetarium is also called Tara Mandal. Meghnath Saha planetariums was started on June 9, 1994, in memory of famous physicist and astrophysicist Meghnath Saha. Burdwan University manages this planetarium. This planetarium has 7 exhibitions per day from March to October and 6 exhibitions from November to February. There are 84 seats for tourists. It is open every day of the week, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Ticket price is Rs. 30 per head for general public i.e. tourists and Rs.15 per head for Bardhhaman university students. The front of the Meghnath Saha Planetarium is decorated with new flower gardens and has a water fountain in the middle.
