Minority appeasement has ruined India the most since independence. This is why India has not been able to make overall progress.
If there is one thing that has ruined India the most since independence, it is minority appeasement. Because of this appeasement, India’s economy has not achieved the place it was supposed to. The way various political parties have been treating Muslims to retain their vote bank, is certainly a detrimental aspect for India’s economy. A truly worthy person cannot reach the right place because of your Muslim body. Also, since a large section of Muslims are extremists, they take this appeasement as a negative and are considered harmful to their country. Many political parties in India believe that they can retain power only by appeasing Muslims. We have seen this in the past as well, but now times are changing and an awakening is taking place among ordinary Hindus. India is a country for everyone, no one is considered different here, whether they are Hindu or Muslim, everyone is a citizen of India, so everyone has equal rights over the resources of India. If any government gives something to Muslims separately, it will be wrong and cannot be supported. While trying to appease these Muslims, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh once said that India has the first right over its resources and he had to endure a lot of criticism from Muslims for this. The truth is that while appeasing them, all these political leaders forget the reality that everyone has equal rights over India’s resources and no one can have priority on the basis of religion. But now Hindus have become more awake and have learned to understand their rights, so the more a political party appeases Muslims, the more its political existence will be endangered.
The way ordinary Hindus participated spontaneously in the Ram Navami celebrations in West Bengal a few days ago shows that Hindus have also learned to understand their rights. If anyone in this country considers Muslim appeasement as their only priority, then their political existence will surely come to an end. I am not saying that Hindus should be given priority. What I am saying is that Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists and people of all races living in India should be given equal rights. No one should be given priority on the basis of religion. In a secular country like India.The common people form governments to ensure their own good governance, so they expect justice from the government, but if that government is not impartial and gives special privileges to a particular religion, it should never be accepted. If Muslims are eligible, then they should definitely be given that place, but giving a specific seat to a person just because of their religious identity will never be considered helpful for the development of the country. Narendra Modi is slowly trying to completely end this politics of appeasement. I don’t know how successful he will be, but it is very important that this politics of blame ends in India, otherwise India will fall apart. But finally, I would like to say that the common people should definitely be aware of this issue, especially Hindus, because if minority appeasement continues in this way, it will be unfair to the common friends and will never be helpful for the development of the country. Therefore, we can take the country forward not by appeasing but by giving equal rights to everyone.
