One of the biggest downsides of promoting yourself at a young age is that if you can’t give performance to people’s expectations, you have to endure so much criticism that you don’t think, you can go into deep depression.
Speaking from my own experience, based on what I have seen in the world, depression does not come naturally to people, depression is brought on by people. When people are not used to normal life and want to promote themselves and can’t hold their own place or if they are not fit for that place then surely people will expect more from them and when they can’t deliver they will suffer depression because people will start criticizing them a lot. This is the reason why Bengali cinema industry superstar Prosenjit’s son Trishan Jeet is currently in the limelight. The media already started talking about him being the next superstar but I see no protest from the boy that not everyone can be a superstar but he will try his best to establish himself. It is clear that he is enjoying his promotion but the consequences could be dire if he doesn’t establish himself in the industry like his father because naturally people’s expectations from him will be high and when people start criticizing him when he can’t live up to that then it will be the most difficult time for him to track as we have seen with other superstars’ children. It is not wrong to be the child of superstars or very established people. But it is a very wrong decision to bring oneself into the limelight before establishing oneself. One should try as much as possible. General publicity should be accepted after a period of time. But for a person who comes into the limelight from the beginning, the next period i.e. the future may turn out to be bad.
I think or not just me it is international report that Indian media is the worst tech media and exaggerated media how can they destroy a boy’s life like this and there are some boys like Trishanjit who don’t understand their technique so they have to suffer. After some time this media will start criticizing the name of this boy and that criticism will be so intense that maybe this boy will not be able to bear it and will go into depression as we have seen in many cases. Many people are traveling in the world of Bengali industry and industry film, they don’t even know when they will get a chance or if they can establish themselves, but no one thinks about them, but the sons and daughters of these superstars start presuming about the future by all these media which are not the work of the media. Depression is normal for those who are in the limelight from the beginning because they never manage to live up to people’s expectations because no matter how much they try to do well they are compared to their parents but they never satisfy people there. However this boy has not achieved anything in life till now but his behavior seems like he is already a superstar i.e. he has to suffer the consequences if good movies can’t give us then people will not stop criticizing then if this boy says why Media is criticizing him then no one will listen to him. So one should tread very carefully because not everyone can be a superstar but he can try his best but better not to be in the limelight from the beginning is what I am saying.
