One Unknown Event in the life of Ratan Tata
Recently a famous businessman of India Ratan Tata passed away who was the owner of Tata Motors Company but to common Indians he was not only a businessman he was a role model i.e. he spent his whole life only by serving people even it is heard that he used the dividends from the company for himself. If not, he would give it to the common people, which is not the same among the businessmen. This ratan once said that if my country i.e. India needs me then I will give away all my property for the country because this life is temporary but before I die, I want to repay the debt of this motherland. Some of his quotes are still exemplary among students.
Today in this article we have not given any details about his life but tried to throw some light on a small chapter of his life. It was an incident in 1998 when a project of Tata Motors, Tata Indigo, a favorite project of Ratan Tata, was running at a loss. Tata Motors or Ratan had invested a lot of money in this project so if there was no profit there was no other option but to sell it. Ford was then one of the largest car manufacturing companies in the world, so Ratan Tata decided to talk to the chairman of the port and fixed a meeting in the United States, although the meeting did not yield any results. And he had to be humiliated. He had to hear from the other side that he had no experience in building passenger cars. So he lost the project and was forced to sell it. The other party was talking to him as if they were doing Tata Motors a favor by buying this.
Today I will discuss how Ratan Tata avenged this insult after 10 years even though he tolerated this insult silently. On coming to India he decided that he would not sell the project to any other company but he would continue the project and he took a big risk to see how he could turn this loss making project into a profit. Due to his tireless work and intelligence, he turned this project into a successful project. It took 10 years, and after 10 years.
But in a cruel twist of fate, by then the force company i.e. the company to which Tata Motors once wanted to sell one of its units went bankrupt. And it cannot be said that Tata Motors bought a unit of that company at that time and benefited him financially because at that time no company other than Tata Motors was willing to buy the company’s project at a higher price. At that time, Tata Motors bought two units of the company with full cash, and the company stood a bit financially.
If ratan tata thought, he could have taken revenge he could have made the company completely bankrupt, but he didn’t because he didn’t have that kind of mentality in him, he was always a generous person and he loved people impossibly so even after his death he was human minded. Occupies a place of so much respect. It is not that he is the only businessman in India, there are many more businessmen than him, but there is probably no person in India who has a bigger heart than him, so he is a person of respect for everyone today.
