Silent Fear
The story begins from when a British Officer killed by Indian rebels while he was going to Ooty Golf Course by riding the horse in the year of 1857. From then a silent fear works in everyone in Ooty that the spirit of that officer roams here. This is the main reason behind the Ooty and Nilgiris hill fall in the top of the haunted places in India.
What Unusual Seen There ?
- Toy Train, which is very popular of this tourist destination, many tourists claimed they saw a ghostly figures on the railway track.
- On roads a white saree wearing women seen and wants for lift and later she offered for sex. Those accept her offer they die.
- Cedar’s palace was once used to be as rest rooms of British, many hear sound of cry from there at night.
- Nilgiris Orchid International school which is witnessed of many paranormal activities, witches, and ghostly souls.
- There is a stone house built in 1822 which is considered as a haunted spot of here. The house is haunted by the spirits of the past owners. Visitors have reported strange noises and sightings.
- The Savoy hotel also included in it. St. Stephen Church, Lalita Mahal palace, Ooty lake, Dodda Betta peak are the main haunted spot of here. There are many abandoned houses, and a ghostly story has spread among the people about those houses.
- The Bollywood film ” Raaz ” was shoot here. Many persons who were included with this film felt unusual activities here. Initially all people were happy because of its natural beauty but later they realized they did wrong. They saw Shadow of someone’s also they heard someone’s cry which was totally unexpected for everyone.
