Shanti Devi, A true Rebirth Story

There is disagreement among many people about reincarnation, some believe and some do not, like Sanatan religion believes in reincarnation while Muslim religion does not believe in reincarnation, that is, there is disagreement among people about this. We do not support or disapprove any party, but today we will present you a true story that you can judge how much this story is worth. Santi Devi was born on 1st December 1926 in Delhi. When the strange subject herself was only four years old, she told his parents that she had been reincarnated and that her real home was in the Mathura region of Uttar Pradesh. Not only that, she was giving detailed account of the previous birth to her parents one after another.

In fact neither Shanti Devi nor her family ever traveled to Mathura. Shanti Devi then went to Mathura with the help of her parents and spoke to each member of her previous birth family separately in Mathura. Although it was so easy for the family to accept this because it was a completely new experience for them. But gradually they also come to realize that this goddess of peace is their deceased relative Jinni who was once a member of this family. According to Shanti Devi’s narration, her husband’s name in previous birth was Kedarnath Chowbey and her name was Lukdi. She was her husband’s second wife i.e. her husband had a total of three wives.

Kedarnath Chowdhury knew Shanti Devi’s past birth husband to be certain he asked Shanti Devi about the intimate moments that only husband and wife have and Shanti Devi answered the question very fluently Kedarnath Chowbey said with certainty she is my past life wife. Not only he but every member of the Chaubey family had accepted that every word spoken by the Shanti Devi was true and true indeed that their dead had been reincarnated. A committee was constituted by the government to investigate the incident impartially and the committee submitted a report to the government. But a scientist came from Sweden who was desperate to prove that this phenomenon was completely false even though he was forced to admit at the end of his research that reincarnation really does happen in this world. The most emotional scene of the storyteller is when Shanti Devi starts crying profusely on seeing the son who was her previous birth even though he is now much older than Shanti Devi. What we do know is that after this Shanti Devi never married again and remained celibate throughout her life, but she traveled regularly to Mathura.
