Unraveling Some Mysteries Surrounding Titanic Ship

April 14, 1912, may be the day we can never forget when the world’s largest ship, the Titanic, sank in the Atlantic Ocean. It was a British built ship, and this ship was known to be the largest ship of its time. The authorities at the time believed that the ship was unsinkable, but later it sank, again on its maiden voyage. On April 10, 1912, the Titanic left Britain for New York with only 2,200 passengers. She was accompanied by a crew of about 100. Since this was the Titanic’s maiden voyage, the frenzy about the ship was at its peak. And as we saw in the movie Titanic, when it was time to leave for New York, the relatives of the passengers gathered in a way that would not normally happen at a political meeting. The entire voyage from Britain to recruitment was 6 days, but within two days, Titanic had to encounter rocks and ice in the water. So, Titanic had to change the direction of her journey several times, but Titanic did not change her speed i.e. it kept the same speed and Titanic’s speed was forty kilometers per hour.

Although the advanced technology aboard the Titanic was already sending signals to the captain that there was a large amount of ice in the water that could be harmful to the ship. But the captain was so overconfident about the Titanic’s capabilities that he ignored all of that and continued to keep the speed the same, resulting in what happened. Then, late at night when all the passengers on board were asleep, the ship’s crew saw that there was a huge block of ice in front of it, which could have crushed the Titanic if it collided with it. Immediately they reported it to the captain and the captain observed it and immediately ordered the ship to change direction but it was not possible to change direction so quickly for such a big ship so the ship collided with the ice block. This caused a hole of about 300 feet in the bottom of the ship through which water gushed in and water entered a large area of the ship and the ship began to sink.

The saddest thing is that there were not as many safety jackets and other safety items as there should have been on such a large ship. As a result, most people start rushing to save their lives and many people die in the slow shock. The captain ordered to try to save the children and women first because by then everyone on the ship knew that the ship was going in and death was imminent. As a last resort, the Titanic sent out a distress signal so that any ships in the distance would come to help if they saw it, but there were no ships nearby, so no ships came forward to save the Titanic. The ship completely sank between 2:00 am and 2:30 am. Sadly, although there were 2,200 people, only 600 could be saved and the rest drowned.

Although almost 100 years have passed since the sinking of the Titanic, there are still many differences of opinion about the Titanic. There was no Titanic, the ship that sank was named the Olympic Titanic somewhere else, and some say that it was not the fault of the Titanic itself, but that many errors in its construction led to its fate. Others say that the Titanic disaster was not an accident but a planned assassination by some individuals or authorities to kill some of the VVIPs on board the ship, although no verification of this fact has been possible. What actually happened to the Titanic is still a mystery today, and the wreckage of the Titanic lies at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Which still carry many memories of a hundred years ago
