The Greatness of Selfness Giving, Story of a Fox. Selfness Action is the Way to Attain God?

Selfness Action is the Way to Attain God?

In This article we will try to find an answer to a question that selfness action is the way to attain God by reading a story mentioned hereafter. This period is called the Facebook era although it is not that only Facebook is prevalent now but along with Facebook there are other popular social networking sites which are working equally like Facebook. On Facebook and other social networking sites we often see some people donating to some poor people and proudly displaying that picture on social networking sites. They don’t want to understand that they are insulting this poor person by publishing all these pictures or videos on social networking sites. During the Corona period, I myself saw that many middle-class families did not want to take all these aids despite the many difficulties because the middle-class people only have their self-respect. They could not take it even if they needed it for fear of public shame because they were unwilling to present themselves as beggars in front of people because it hurt their self-esteem. So all those people who donate to someone and publish their pictures on social networking sites should think whether they are doing good by donating or increasing their sins. According to Hindu scriptures this type of donation is never a good thing because the religion always says to donate in such a way that it is not revealed to others i.e. always keep the donation secret only then it is possible to reap the benefits of donation.

Not only about charity but after doing a good deed it should not be disclosed i.e. it should be concealed. It is also said that between the two hands give charity with one hand and the other hand does not know i.e. it is not a good deed to assert one’s lordship after giving charity There is a story that I am referring to.

It was during the Mahabharata that the Panchapandavas defeated the Kauravas and organized a great battle. At that time, those who were famous people who were experts in various subjects or the king of a kingdom were invited to participate in this yajna. Security was tight so that no one could enter unless invited, when suddenly an incident took place that surprised everyone.

The necessary materials for the yajna were brought from all over the world and kept at a certain place when suddenly a fox came and tumbled over those things. It would be wrong to just roll over as he shouts that it doesn’t really qualify. This program is completely meaningless and done by incompetent people. Hearing this all the people present at the night meeting including the five Pandava brothers got very angry and shouted that the fox must be captured. Then all the soldiers captured the fox and tied him to a wall. The strange thing was that the fox was not frightened by this and without stopping him, he began to say more loudly that there was no magic in this ceremony and that the ceremony was completely meaningless. This made all the people present more angry. They began to request the king to order the execution of the fox.

Among the Panchpandava brothers, Yudhishthira was the most intelligent and calm natured, he realized that it is not possible for such a creature to speak so much, surely it is speaking from some past experience which is necessary for all of us to know. Then King Yudhishthira slowly approached the fox and asked why he spoke like that. The fox was fearless he did not fear anyone he started saying king I call this show of yours worthless compared to the kind of show I have seen in my life. And if you think that I have spoken wrongly or lied then I will tell you a story please try to listen to that story. Saying this the jackal began to tell his story and all the people present in the assembly Panchpandava and all the present dignitaries began to listen to the jackal’s story with their hearts.

The fox started saying that there was a time when I was starving for a long time because there was a famine in the region where I lived as well as in a wide area so no person or family could give me any food so somehow I came close to death. In such a situation I found with great difficulty a Brahmin family who took great pains to procure one meal. I came to know the condition of the Brahmin family, that the family had been starving for a long time and today with great difficulty they managed to get a little food for one meal.

In that family there were four members Brahmin who was the head of the family his wife his son and his daughter-in-law these four took up his household. As soon as they were ready to serve food, I went there and told them about my long starvation. The Brahmin man, though poor, was very ethical. He knew that when a guest came to his house, he should not send him away without eating, so he gave his food to me. I was very hungry so after the meal I said that I was still very hungry then the Brahmin’s wife gave me her share of food as well. But I was so hungry that even then my hunger was not satisfied, so this time son and daughter-in-law also gave me their share of food.

Then the fox started saying that when I left the house after satisfying my complete hunger, I hid for a while and after a while I saw that everyone in the family died of hunger one by one. And I also noticed that immediately a miraculous light surrounded the poor house and one by one the four souls entered heaven. I saw this with my own eyes. In fact Brahmin was a complete principled person. God may not have given him much wealth but he was well educated in morals. He never allowed a person to die of starvation. Because they did not think, their God was pleased and sent them to heaven.

The fox now started saying that it has been a long time since this incident and I have traveled to different places and attended various ceremonies but nowhere I could not see such a ceremony which could open the gates of heaven. When I heard that a great ceremony was being organized by you here, I thought that I would once again witness the opening of the gates of heaven, but when I came here, I was disappointed because I thought that if I came here to see the event organized here, I would see that scene again, but this time

Then the five brothers i.e. Pancha pandas understood why the fox was repeatedly saying that the performance of the ceremony was pointless. They ordered to leave the fox. Then the five brothers i.e. Pancha pandas understood why the fox was repeatedly saying that the performance of the ceremony was pointless. It is very good to donate but it is not good at all to show people and when people of India understand this thing then the country will definitely change, and I believe we can take a step forward in the religious path.
