Bed of Corpse
Hi Guys, Good Morning. Today we will talk about a haunted place of Kolkata i.e. Park Street Cemetery, better to say bed of corpse. I know very less persons are there who believe in supernatural activities if you take my opinion in this world there is no end of learning, so I am who know everything this logic does not work everywhere. So, stay turned on to my blog and read whatever I just say.
This place is in South Kolkata near Park Street area. Actually, this place was used for burial purpose. Now it is an abundant place and falls in the category of ” Top 10 haunted or Horror Place in Kolkata “. in 1767 it was set up and till 1830 this burial place was used but now it is a heritage area declared by the Indian Government. Here more than 2000 tombs. Many famous personalities were buried here. Some of them are – Henry Vivian Derozio, William Zones, John Clavering, Augustus Cleveland etc. But now it is very difficult to identify every tomb whose tomb it is.
There is a tomb here which is oldest tomb according to epigraph it was buried in 1768. this tomb was of Mr. Pierson. So, you can understand here two and half century’s tomb also exists. It is said that in 1984 a business family turned this burial place into an arts center so many tombs were destroyed that time buty later it was stopped by the order of court.
My humble request to everyone whenever you will visit, please try to be two or more than that because this place is very notorious as haunted or crushed place. I am sharing my experience when I visited here i felt a strange kind of stillness and as if someone was following me up over and over again. This place was so scary that i could not feel get relived until i was not able to get out of there. And as soon as i reached my home i had developed a severe fever. But My intention not to indulge any superstition. i have just shared my experience here. For entry you need a buy a ticket and it is open for almost every day in a week.
At last, would say God is more powerful than soul. So, I pray to Almighty God that He release these souls and do justice to them. We do not want to see this place as haunted place but as a place of memories in coming future. Om Shanti……..
