The problem of unemployment in the state of West Bengal in India is increasing day by day. Everyone wants to work here, but no one wants to do business. Due to the lack of entrepreneurs and government policies that are unfavorable for business, the economic problems here will continue to grow.
If we want to analyze the reason why there is so much unemployment in the Bengali community today then we must blame the previous generation because there was a time when the Bengali business was prosperous and the Bengali community no longer depended on others for their livelihood but today the Bengali business is not a photo and they are afraid to take risks. Therefore, no matter how educated they are, they have to depend on others for a meager salary. I have seen many Bengali highly educated people who give their precious time to a company for a small salary i.e. if they were doing business or creating something on their own they could have got a lot of return but they are afraid to take risk that’s why the Bengali community is so backward today. At present some people are trying to propagate that Biharis and Oriyas have occupied many footpaths in Calcutta and West Bengal but if I ask why Bengalis cannot go there they have no answer. The fact is that the Bengali community cannot do those jobs. Today, a Bihari or Oriya person can’t work as hard as he leaves his family and come to another state to make ten percent Bengalis. Bengalis just want a job, even if it’s a low salary, there’s no problem. He had to endure many abuses from the office boss even to get that small salary. On the one hand he lacks his family and on the other hand he has to endure intense amount of mental pressure in the office but the person never tries to become self-reliant by doing business and because of this the Bengali is falling behind day by day.
Bengalis only want to be highly educated and want to do a teaching job. If for some reason he does not get a government job, then his first intention is to work as a clerk in an office, even if it is for a salary of 7000 or 8000 taka. Because of this mentality, the Bengali community is losing its existence day by day. On the other hand, I have seen Bihari Oriya different castes, they don’t think about these things, maybe they are far behind in terms of their education, but they don’t consider any work to be small, so even if they start any business from a very young age, after a while they become established and they are the ones who provide jobs to Bengalis and Bengalis consider themselves blessed to have got that job and condemn this mentality of Bengalis. It is true that not everyone gets a government job, but if I don’t get a government job, it doesn’t mean that I will be a failure in life. There are many aspects in life, we have to think about those aspects. It is also true that every person does not get success in every aspect. This mindset of just waiting for the job is very low quality. My question to those Bengali people who say that Calcutta’s footpaths are occupied by the unfortunate, why are you so ashamed to say that you can’t occupy that place when you can’t do that how could blame others?.
I always see Bengalis blaming other nations to cover up their own incompetence but if they don’t work hard, they have the mindset that at the end of the month money will automatically go into my account like a government job, then this mindset is very bad and a nation will never be able to develop. Even if a person earns Rs.100,000 from a job, he cannot give any employment to his next generation and his next generation will have to start from the beginning in terms of employment. Similarly, if a person earns the same amount from his business, he can gift it to his next generation. This is the difference between job and business one big thing in job is that a certain amount of money can be earned every month but in business it is not possible but if the business is built properly then it is possible to earn unlimited income from it which is never possible in job.I have said before that the biggest contributor to the destruction of the Bengali nation is the government job. Nowadays, such an artendancy has been created in the youth community that if they don’t get a government job, they feel inferior and they don’t make themselves good at anything. They grow old only hoping for a government job. And after a while they can’t even marry anymore it has become a social disease no one can deny. Besides, currently there is a big lack of entrepreneurs in West Bengal, everyone wants to work here, but the lack of people to give jobs, on top of that, if the government policies here are enough to drive away various entrepreneurs from this state, then one can say for sure that there will be a lack of employment in West Bengal. Entrepreneurs must be created for the development of the country. Emphasis should be placed on trade and commerce. If there is a mentality that only jobs will be done, not only will the country progress but also the country will lag behind. The government should take initiatives in this regard so that awareness is created among the common people about doing business and they can be dependent on business and trade a lot.
