The real story behind the popular movie Dirty Picture is the life of Silk Smitha
Vidya Balan starrer movie almost everyone has seen Dirty Picture this movie was full of romance and various hot scenes which managed to captivate the audience. Vidya Balan along with renowned actors and actresses once again bring to the fore the life story of one of the forgotten south Indian actress Vijayalakshmi or Silk Smita with brilliant performances in this movie. The movie is based on the personal life of South Indian actress Silk Smita. Born in 1960, the South Indian actress was forced into marriage at the age of 14 and endured a lot of physical and mental abuse at the hands of her in-laws. She was born into a low family so soon she had to leave school and was forced into marriage. When her marriage ended completely, she moved to Chennai to work as a makeup artist and from then on, she started meeting a lot of people in the industry.
Silk Smitha was a totally attractive woman i.e. her body shape was so attractive that men went crazy for her and soon she got chances in films and she started charging very high rates for one movie so soon she had huge amount of money in her hands. She was able to make his mark in the industry with such efficiency that the amount of remuneration she charged for performing a single song scene in each movie sometimes exceeded the total remuneration of the hero heroines. Her attractive man made any stop movie a hit then she was South India’s number one actress who became famous for her attractive acting. Then she married a second time and secondly to a doctor that doctor invested all his money and Silk Smitha invested her combined money in the film industry but as all those movies flopped she became very depressed. Meanwhile, her movies were not doing so well because of her body and youth. Any expert says that it is not possible to survive in the industry for long.
Many say that after that she continued to act in pornographic type movies but after a few days she was not doing well there and then she suffered a lot of depression and started taking drugs excessively. Later, one day in 1996, her hanging body was found at her home, with the post-mortem report stating that she had died of an overdose of alcohol. Many call this death a suicide.
Many people associated with the film industry say that the Silk was exploited as the industry did not use her properly and she was forced to repeat the same role over and over again, but the counter argument can be raised that when given work to any actor or actress there is no reason to compel her beacause he or she has to sign on his behalf with his consent. Indeed, the silk’s movies were very popular in the beginning, but later they did not have any significant success. Watching the same scene again and again, the audience got bored and turned away from it. But by then the luxurious lifestyle of this silk had increased the amount of money she needed but she had no money supply. So he is forced to sign relatively low rated movies. But after a few days her financial supply from there became very limited and her worries increased and she decided to commit suicide due to depression.
In reality this is what happened she was exploited and tortured a lot by all sides of the society not only in the film industry but also in the society in which she was born. She was not sheltered in his family nor in the society nor in the industry but people did not love her for a long time. Only she was commercialized later we saw a famous bollywood movie was made on her but no one thought of her but it was made for business. All her life she lived only to be a commodity, whatever she is doing now in the hereafter we hope and pray to God for her.
