They are happy even though they lack
On my way to town yesterday, I saw a little scene at a station that made me think a lot. A father and a mother they are both blind and have a 10 to 12 year old son with them. What I understand from listening to their conversation is that since they are both blind, they live by begging on the train and the boy helps them cross the road. I saw the little boy begging his parents to buy some food and his parents were saying go home and cook for you no need to buy from outside. That’s because we couldn’t earn much money today. The baby boy is crying and finally agrees because even though he is young he is aware of his family situation he understands how his parents will buy food for him if he doesn’t earn today. I listened to their talk for a long time and realized that despite being poor, their family has a happiness, love and respect for each other that is not seen in many families. Many people say that wealth is ruin because it cannot be denied that wealth is very necessary for our life but I have witnessed in my own life that if too much of it comes into one’s life it leads to destruction in most cases. The family I saw yesterday may have gone through many days where they could not eat or drink and sleep only on water, but despite this they have no complaints about life, that is, they have accepted the fact that they will not be able to reach any special heights in life. So they are the happiest in life. But there are many families where every member of the family earns enough family money but still they have no peace in their life because they cannot accept the fact that life will end after some time and we all have to reach God. Many people say that you can be satisfied with little. It is true that if you can satisfy yourself with little, then you will be the happiest person in life. If you own all the possessions in the world, then you will not be happy in life. I started to imagine this little family when they would go home at the end of the day and share food among themselves and how happy they would be living. I was so jealous of their life because it might be a very difficult life but there is no happiness. I pray to God that this happiness should remain intact throughout the life of their family even if there is hardship in life.
