Uzbekistani chess player objected to sharing a handset with an Indian female player on the grounds that it was forbidden in Islam.
A chess player from Ujbekistaan refused to shake hands with a female player from India during a game because he argued that it was not supported by his Islam. Muslims are rejoicing because according to them it is a great aspect of Islam that they do not touch a female player. If in Islam it is not allowed to touch women and also it is not allowed to participate in any sport, then is the Muslim person who is participating in the sport practicing true Islam? Many radical Muslims say that Islam does not allow girls to use Facebook and Instagram. But when Muslim boys use these things they do not object. A common rule set at the beginning of the game is that if someone feels that his religion will be hurt by following these rules, then he should not participate in the sport because such thoughts turn into thoughts and subsequently into militant thoughts. It makes you wonder how these players with hateful thoughts get a chance in the international arena because they are not eligible to participate in any international game, they are better off staying in their own country. And practice your own religion well because when you come to international level there are some common rules everyone has to follow.
