Why should We feed Dogs? Are there any Myths about it? Man’s closest Friend is Dog.

Man’s closest Friend is Dog.

It’s a very true that Man’s closest friend is dog. We often see dogs on the streets and many people like dogs very much, so they buy biscuits or other things from shops and feed them. But if I see any animal not just dogs, I think it needs to be fed and should be helped if it is in danger. Again, among our educated society, there are many people who do not allow these dogs to eat but enjoy breeding them in various ways. A few days ago, it was reported that a male dog’s penis was cut off by a man because the male dog was having intercourse with another female dog. It is surprising to think that such perverts are still alive in our society, perhaps as our neighbours, but their masks are unmasked when such news comes before the media. Today we will cover a small topic related to dogs which is why humans should feed dogs. Behind this there is a myth in Hindu scriptures which I am going to mention below.

There was a time when God was decorating the entire creation with the animal world i.e. one by one, he was bringing all the animals down to earth and there came a time when it was the turn of dogs and humans. At first it was seen that God gave the dog a life of 100 years, so when the dog came to know that God had given him a long life, he went to God and said, “Lord, I did not need that much life.” I want to get back to you soon. I don’t want to live long on earth so please shorten my life span. Then God said to the dog that when I gave you long life, you must be worthy of that long life. Actually, the dog lied to God that he didn’t want long life but actually he wanted long life, but the truth was that he had a very good relationship with that man he considered man a very good friend but unfortunately the man was feeling very sad because God gave that man a short life. And after a time, the dog couldn’t stay anymore he said to God Lord please give my extra life to a human. God was shocked to hear this; he realized that the dog was saying this because he wanted his friend man to live longer but he didn’t say anything else he said so dog you will have a short life, and man will have a long life.

Actually, the dog’s heart was very generous so he wanted long life for man, but man was jealous but if he thought he could have asked God for dog’s long life too, but he kept silent because he thought nothing of dog, he only thought of himself. The next story is that after God was sending food separately to each animal that they would live on earth, the dog said that there is no need for God to send food for me. Please send the food you decided to send to the people instead of me. People will eat and if some amount is given to me from there, I can easily save my body with it, there is no need for me to send food separately. Although the man was very happy to hear that the dog wanted to give him his extra portion of food, he was not at all happy to hear that he had to let the dog eat from his food. But then he kept silent. God understood man’s mind, but he didn’t say anything. He set aside some food for dogs because he knew that man would never feed dogs.

This is a myth so don’t go looking for its logic I heard this story from my friend Bipin Sharma, but I can say that not only dogs, but humans are superior creatures, so it is the responsibility of humans to care for all animals especially those who are neglected. Feeding and providing security to them. Bringing to justice those evil people who commit various atrocities on these dogs and other animals. I have seen many a time that during Diwali festivity is spread towards dogs, it may be fun for those people but if you think about it, you will see how much these animals suffer for this little joy of ours. The most important thing is that you can never be happy by hurting someone so it is our duty to look after all animals including dogs who are dependent on human beings not only, we will teach our children to care for every animal and even if we beat them. The feeling that they suffer should also be inculcated in children, not only children but people from all walks of life, this message must be given that any innocent animal is God’s creation if you love it, God can be loved if you make it suffer, God will never come to your life. I am not prolonging this article anymore I am ending this article by thanking my friend who taught me a lot by telling me this story Happy Diwali.
